Craigslist Treasures

First of all, I apologize for no before picture. I truly wish I would have planned ahead and snapped a photo prior to sanding, glueing together drawers and filling in holes on this dresser. 

I am not really sure what got into me.  I guess refinishing furniture has always been an interest of mine but I've never been daring enough to venture out and try it.  I purchased this dresser from Craigslist for $40.   Here is the end result!  The color scheme reminds me of my favorite movie, Amelie.  Not too shabby for my first try.
