With a day of cycling and wine tasting in my near future to celebrate a friend's birthday I was reminded of these amazing Dress Guards by Simeli. I first saw them featured here on Design Sponge! While researching the dress guards, I learned that they have been around since the 1800s to protect ladies' dresses from getting caught in the wheel and spokes of their bicycles (via Cycle Chic). I don't have a cruiser (yet) but if/when I do I want it to look like this one. I love the basket, dress guard and even the flowers on the back!

How to dress your bike!
With a day of cycling and wine tasting in my near future to celebrate a friend's birthday I was reminded of these amazing Dress Guards by Simeli. I first saw them featured here on Design Sponge!
