Vintage Eclectic Wedding in Soft Pink, Cream and Lavender | Le Rivage | Sacramento, CA

 Jane & Joe's wedding took place on a toasty late-July day in Sacramento this summer!  Le Rivage was the location chosen as a meeting point for the joining of two families: the Bride's from the Bay Area and Groom's from just South of Sacramento. 

Jane wanted to keep the ceremony casual with wildflowers in white with accents of yellow and lavender.  She provided galvanized buckets and stands from her parent's home as vessels to add around the metal archway.  Her mom wanted live plants added to the altar décor for Jane and Joe to keep as mementos from their wedding.  A garland of various eucalyptus and pittosporum was attached to the face of the arch.

 Mason jars were hung along the aisle chairs filled with lavender and accented with peach ribbon around the jars.

 The beautiful bride with her lovely ladies in lavender! I love the way the various lavender dresses look!

 The flower girls sported lavender halos and threw dried lavender (in lieu of petals) from buckets. 









The cake was gorgeous and provided by Sweet Cakes by Rebecca!

 

 



 

Jane wanted the flowers at the reception to look more formal than the wildflowers at the ceremony.  She chose to utilize my collection of mercury glass rentals with centerpiece in the Baleri Compote pieces (silver mercury glass pedestal vases) with collections of antique bottles and jars around the larger vase, a mirror on the center of each table and lots of mercury glass votives.  All of these hard goods are rental items through In Full Bloom by MJL!  I mostly used hydrangea, dahlia and garden rose from the reception flowers with some smaller flowers and fillers in the bottles and jars.

Luke & Leanna | The Firehouse | Sacramento | CA | Wedding

 To follow up with my previous video montage post here are some individual photos of Luke and Leanna's beautiful wedding at The Firehouse in Old Sacramento! Laurie at LJS Photography did such a wonderful job documenting their day!

 Leanna's bouquet was made of yellow cymbidium orchids, vendelas roses, white calla lilies and green berried with the stems wrapped in gray satin ribbon.

 The bridesmaid bouquets were cream vendela roses and white calla lilies with the stems wrapped in gray satin ribbon.

GRAND ISLAND MANSION WEDDING | SNEAK PEEK | MARCIE & TROY

 

Working with Marcie & Troy was such a joy!  They were a lovely couple and I had so much fun creating arrangements for them on their wedding day at The Grand Island Mansion.  Because the tables are different sizes and a little smaller, we decided to use small pedestal soup bowls as centerpiece vessels.  Roses, hydrangea, stock and carnations in cream, white, light pink and peach filled the bowls.  These classic flowers and the classic look of the vessels provided the perfect compliment to the architecture and integrity of the mansion.
